This paper, "Assessment of the impact of COVID-19 on Healthcare delivery in Nasarawa State," comprehensively analyzes challenges faced by the healthcare system amid the global crisis. Navigating the existing landscape, it highlights infrastructure and workforce strengths and vulnerabilities like disparities. The impact assessment focuses on strain in healthcare infrastructure, emphasizing adaptability and areas requiring sustained investments. Exploring personnel challenges offers insights for targeted strategies. The evaluation of interventions covers testing, vaccination, and preventive measures, emphasizing continued optimization. The study delves into socioeconomic impacts, emphasizing the interconnectedness of economic challenges and health disparities, particularly affecting vulnerable populations. Utilizing David Easton’s system theory, the paper explains the pandemic's impact on healthcare in Nasarawa state. The study found out that covid 19 pandemic posed significant barriers to accessing healthcare services with disruptions in transportation, fear of infections and reduced accessibility. It also found out that there was challenge in the supply of drugs and medical equipment during the covid-19 pandemic in Nasarawa state. Evidence-based policy recommendations propose strategic infrastructure investment, workforce support, pandemic preparedness, testing and diagnostics strategies, equitable vaccination distribution, community-centric policies, social support system enhancement, health disparities addressing policies, digital health integration, and long-term resilience planning
